LAUNCH.md

What to do outside the code before real people use your product. Domain, security, email, legal, search engines, and each module you picked.

What it checks

  • Domain and hosting: HTTPS, one canonical host, separate databases and secrets for production and previews, migrations, backups you restored once.
  • Accounts and security: a long random auth secret per environment, the production OAuth callbacks, every sign-in path tried in production, the Content Security Policy moved from report-only to enforced, HSTS.
  • Email: a sending domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and a test email that reaches Gmail and Outlook, not spam.
  • Legal: your company, contact and every processor in the legal pages, reviewed by a lawyer in each language you publish.
  • Search engines and sharing: the sitemap submitted, robots.txt, share cards, llms.txt and the Markdown copy of each page.
  • The API and the MCP server: connect it from Claude and Claude Code, then list it in the MCP Registry, the Claude Connectors Directory and ChatGPT apps.
  • After launch: uptime checks, and someone who reads the error logs every day for the first week.

Only what your project has

Analytics, the consent banner, payments and file uploads each add their own section, and only when the project has the module. A box per step, ticked in the pull request that does it.

Run one command. The CLI asks the rest, and your agent takes it from there.

pnpm create turbinekit my-app
See the prompt

Paste it into an agent that can run commands, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.

Create a new TurbineKit project with me.

TurbineKit (https://turbinekit.dev) is an open-source Turborepo and Next.js starter. Its CLI, create-turbinekit, needs Node.js 24 and pnpm 10 (run `corepack enable` once).

1. Run `pnpm dlx create-turbinekit --help` to see its options.
2. Ask me its questions one at a time, with their defaults: the folder, the product name, one sentence about the product, the company or legal name, the contact email, the languages and the modules. Skip what I have already told you.
3. The CLI only asks questions in an interactive terminal, so run it with my answers as options and `--yes`. Show me the command before you run it.
4. In the new folder, read AGENTS.md. Then do "1. Minimal setup" in SETUP.md, and tick each box you finish.
5. Tell me the URL of the running app, and which services SETUP.md lists next.

No sign-up, no API keys. Needs Node.js 24 and pnpm 10.
